Festive Season in Rayong 2026

December at Cape Laem Mae Phim arrives warm. The festive season in Rayong at Mercure Rayong Lomtalay runs outdoors from Christmas Eve through to the first sunrise of the new year, on a quiet stretch of coast two and a half hours from Bangkok.

Christmas in Rayong

On 24 December, the ECUME Bistro terrace in the Ocean Wing hosts Christmas Eve Dinner By The Sea — an international and premium seafood buffet with a live band, a fire dance show on the sand, and Santa arriving by air. The next morning brings a Christmas Day breakfast served until half past eleven.

New Year’s Eve in Rayong

On 31 December, the Paradise Countdown fills the same terrace from 17:00 with a seafood buffet and live entertainment. At 23:30 the night moves up to KOH 17, the highest rooftop bar on Laem Mae Phim Beach, for midnight and the arrival of 2027.

A season shaped by the shore

Every event happens outdoors, beside the water. The Andaman is on the other side of the country — here it is the Gulf of Thailand, calm in December and warm enough that nobody reaches for a jacket. Children are welcome at every sitting, and half price from six to twelve.
